A business name
You know you want to start a massage business, now what? I can tell you what I did, but please keep in mind I do not have a business degree and speak only from experience. The first thing you need is a name. So I would suggest picking a name that describes you and your business, but make it creative and as catchy as you can so people remember it, I chose Bee Well Massage, because I love bees and ”Be Well” is a common phrase that I made into my own version. The next thing I did was build a website. I purchased www.beewellmassage.com, got creative with it, and now I have my very own website. After you have a name, you want to make sure nobody else can have that name either, so I went and purchased Bee Well Massage. You can do this by going to The Secretary Of State for the specific state you live in. So now I have my own name, website, and nobody else can have it! Another important thing you are going to want is insurance. If you are running your own practice you are going to want to be protected. I would suggest looking around at a few massage insurance companies so you know you are getting what you need for the best deal. Now, the fun begins, time to get some clients!!!!
